Intraoperative video Parkinson’s Disease (PD) tremor treatment by continuous high frequency Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

Parkinson’s Disease (PD) tremor :

Micro Electrode Recording (MER) of Sub Thalamic Nucleus (STN)
neurones showing evidence of neurones firing synchroneously with arm tremor
and their reactivity with hand movements.
Tremor is stopped by acute high frequency stimulation of STN (180 Hz monopolar 60 microsec negative pulses)
